Originally a clinic of 2 RMTs in the Annex, June 2020 brought on not only a pandemic but also an electrical fire in our workspace. This was all the convincing we needed that the universe wanted us on a different path. It was time for a move and a team in what we aim to be an inclusive, body neutral, brave space.
Now that we’ve settled into our Dundas St West location we are happy to be surrounded by these beautiful and talented family members. We offer Massage Therapy, Sports/Athletic Massage, TCM/Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Physiotherapy, Pelvic floor therapy, Kinesiology, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Osteopathy, Relational Psychotherapy and Mixed Modality Psychotherapy.
As always, we thank you and are grateful for your ongoing support..
For your wellness: spirit and body,

I am a kinesiologist, massage therapist, swim instructor and life-long water polo player. I tend to gravitate towards nature and all bodies of water - you’ll find me hiking, camping and planning scuba dive trips all over the world.
Kinesiology is focused on studying human performance and function. I can provide services related to chronic disease management, workplace ergonomics and fitness, similar to how a physiotherapist would. While earning my undergraduate degree, I took special interest in studying coaching theory and techniques, gender studies and ethics in athletics and universal accessibility in sport. I also have a background in coaching water polo, swimming and basic water safety. These passions intersect at my involvement with the Toronto Triggerfish Water Polo team, an LGBTQ+ adult recreation league striving towards the active inclusion of community members who have historically been excluded from aquatics.
In tandem with my work as a kinesiologist, I practice massage therapy. While at Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic, I learned how to use the principles of Swedish and deep tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, lymphatic drainage and hydrotherapy to increase relaxation and treat symptoms associated with work- and home-life related tension and headaches. Likewise, I participated in outreach programming to treat symptoms associated with the following experiences: thoracic surgery, pregnancy/postpartum, spinal injury, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, cerebral palsy and cognitive disability.
I have connected with many patients of different backgrounds during my training and I am honored to work in a client-centered multidisciplinary clinic to combine many modalities and bodywork techniques. Let’s get started!

I came to massage at a time when I was learning to reconnect with my own body and found it to be a powerful resource for managing chronic pain, decreasing and coping with stress and aiding injury recovery. That experience led me to train at Kikkawa College, where I built a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and patient-centered care. Now, as a registered massage therapist (RMT), I’m committed to supporting people as they learn to care for their bodies, health and overall well-being. Outside the treatment room you’ll likely find me reading, cycling, practicing Iyengar yoga, forest bathing or walking my cat (yes, really).
In my practice, I continue to learn from every person I work with. I believe effective treatment begins with listening to the person on the table and to how their body moves and responds. My treatments focus on the whole body, emphasizing relaxation, nervous system support and the ways physical symptoms often connect to broader patterns, including emotional and mental health. I love helping people discover how massage can address concerns they may not have realized were linked, like how opening the chest wall can ease neck pain, or how jaw tension might stem from stress or postural fatigue. I also work with issues like muscle strain, headaches, and chronic pain and have completed advanced training in breast, chest, and oncology massage. As a queer and trans-affirming practitioner, I’m committed to offering safe, trauma-informed care to people across the gender spectrum. I strive to create a space where people of all identities, expressions, and body types can feel more at home in their bodies, however they show up.
Massage isn’t just about muscles; it’s about holistic support. Let’s think about it differently, together!

I’m an orthopedic and pelvic health physiotherapist and an osteopathic manual practitioner who is deeply committed to helping my patients get relief from long - standing pain, move with greater ease , and reengage in activities that they once loved to partake in. My passion for studying the workings of the human body (and mind) led me to earn a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the Canadian College of Osteopathy. I have considerable experience in the management of chronic neck and low back pain, and pelvic disorders such as incontinence, pain, prolapse, and the pregnant and postpartum pelvis. My interest in concussion rehabilitation arose after sustaining a serious concussion injury in 2017. By combining the knowledge gained from my personal rehabilitation journey with the latest evidence - based research, I strive to offer the best post - concussion care to individuals struggling with persistent concussion symptoms. The deepest lessons I have learned are from my patients. They know their bodies better than anyone, and by asking the right questions and listening carefully, the answers to most of their persistent pain issues can be determined. When not in the clinic, I can be found practicing my karate chops on my younger brother, devouring home - cooked meals, and attempting to rein in the mind through meditation.

I’m Alvin, an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, dedicated to helping people feel better, move more freely, and return to the things that bring them joy.
My journey in health and fitness began after earning my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, when I started working as a Personal Trainer and Kinesiologist. I supported people with unique needs such as pain, arthritis, joint replacements, injuries, and postural issues. Over time, I realized something important was missing in my approach; I was only treating the symptom, not the root cause. This led me to Osteopathy.
I completed my five-year osteopathic education at the Sutherland-Chan School of Osteopathy, where I learned theories and hands-on techniques to work with the human body. This included the musculoskeletal system (muscles, bones, joints, and soft tissues), the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, gynecological, and cranial systems. The focus was to see the bigger picture and how all of these systems influenced one another.
With curiosity, care, and respect for each person’s story, my treatments are tailored to your needs, combining what I’ve learned from osteopathy and kinesiology with what you share about your life.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing recreational volleyball and dodgeball. I’m also an avid cyclist; twice I rode from Toronto to Montreal to raise funds for the People With AIDS Foundation. Outside of sports, I love exploring different neighbourhoods around the city, though I’ll admit I’m usually in bed by 10 p.m!
How I can help
• Pain in neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees, feet, and more
• Joint stiffness, mobility restrictions, muscular tension and strain
• Headaches, migraines, jaw-related issues, concussion symptoms
• Recovery from injuries (sports, workplace, or daily activity related)
• Cranial-related problems such as vertigo, tinnitus, balance, coordination difficulties, etc.
• Systemic concerns such as circulation, digestion, and breathing mechanics
• Stress-related tension and fatigue

I’m a massage therapist, a mom and an opera singer. When I’m not wearing those hats, you might find me working-out or riding my bike. I’m also pretty good in the kitchen and bake a mean cake….but I suppose I digress.
While studying at Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic, I not only learned the many techniques involved with Swedish massage and hydrotherapy, but was given the opportunity to participate in specialty clinics for cancer treatment at Princess Margaret Lodge and HIV/AIDS at 330 Jarvis St. As you might have guessed, these are two areas that I am quite passionate about.
As well, after graduating, I spent two years working at Altum Health through Toronto Western Hospital where I predominantly treated people recovering from workplace and auto injuries.
Of course, you don’t have to fall into those categories to come in for a massage. What I believe in the most is that no matter what your background or your age, massage can help with a multitude of health concerns. I would love to take the opportunity to get to know you and your health history so we can work together to design a treatment plan that is created for you individually. I will never claim that I can ‘fix’ things for you but I’m quite certain that I can help you feel better and get you closer to your goals, be it pain management, recovery from injury, muscle tension or the often-underrated need for relaxation.

RP; Registered Drama Therapist-RDT
When people ask me, how long have I been working as a psychotherapist or drama therapist, I half-jokingly respond, “my whole life”. I am someone who cares deeply about others, honours and validates the human experience, and holds space no matter the circumstance.
I offer deeply compassionate client-centered services for adolescents and adults. I am trained in the evidence-based models of Psychodynamic, ACT, CBT, and Narrative therapy as well as the Creative Arts Therapies (Role theory, Psychodrama, Improv, etc.), and so interweave these modalities to best suit my client’s needs. My therapy approach goes beyond talk therapy, to also be embodied and explorative, interactive, and somatically based. In this way emotions, memories, and presenting issues are explored and processed not only with words but with movement, metaphors, play, and body relaxation techniques. But it is always up to the client as to how creative they want to get!
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a professional actress and somatic therapeutic practitioner for 12 years. I bring my creative skills and extensive knowledge of the human body and nervous system into my practice.
I specialize in working with those experiencing grief and loss, identity challenges, family conflict, and anxiety and depression. I believe greatly in creating a safe space throughout the therapy journey and bring a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach into my sessions.
I am truly passionate about disability visibility and rights and about being an ally in every shape and form. I welcome you to come play, express safely, and heal.

My journey into massage therapy was not straightforward. When I left Iran to attend high school in India, my analytical mind led me to pursue computer science, but soon I realized I was unfulfilled in the corporate environment.
After moving to Toronto, I unexpectedly found myself invited into a vibrant community of music and art, which awakened a dormant aspect in me; a deeper part with an intuitive connection to energy and bodywork. The impactful relief I experienced from my first massage, inspired me to learn how to help others heal through touch, prompting me to earn my diploma in Massage Therapy from Kikkawa College.
Practicing massage therapy allows me to integrate both the analytical and intuitive sides of myself to personalize treatments. By using the techniques taught at school, I seek to uncover the root cause of your discomfort while also promoting relaxation, enhancing mobility and managing pain. However, my work goes beyond technique; it’s about creating a sanctuary where you feel seen and heard. My goal is to cultivate a space that fosters harmony between mind, body and soul; to give you a renewed sense of well-being.
Outside of my practice, you’ll likely find me immersed in the rhythms of electronic music. I also have an avid curiosity in astrology, using it as a tool to better understand human psychology and interactions. At home, my cat and my plants remind me of life’s simple joys.
Let’s embark on this transformative experience together!

My work is about connection. I do what I can to create a space where we can sit - without judgement or hurry - and organize our thoughts, experiences and feelings. Therapy can soften our gaze and invite curiosity no matter what you bring and no matter where you are at. In our work together, you will experience compassion, right as you are. If this sounds like a fit and you want to visit my office or talk on the phone - I am here.
Currently I am a qualifying member of The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and have completed my training with The Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy (TIRP).

I’m the father of two wonderful girls and an RMT, and that pretty much takes up all of my time. I have a background in martial arts, enjoy drawing the things that I see in the stucco ceiling at home, have trouble following a recipe (but like to cook) and continue to hunt the elusive ‘8 hours of sleep’ I keep hearing about.
Although I was present at the birth of both my daughters, I often felt helpless dealing with the physical issues surrounding the pregnancies themselves. I only wish that I had known how much massage can help with the lower back pain and nightly leg cramping. During my time at Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic I took a specialty pregnancy clinic that taught me how to treat both pre and postnatal discomforts. Since then I have gained more experience working with pregnant patients and have found it to be some of the most rewarding work I’ve done.
But to be honest, I like working with all demographics and enjoy the challenge of designing a treatment specific massage that is rooted in calming the nervous system. I believe that there’s always a place for relaxation in every treatment (unless, perhaps, you’re just about to run a marathon…)
